Lee Caron
Lee Caron, a Connecticut based percussionist, has been a member of and performed with groups such as The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps 3rd US INF (Escort to the President), The United States Army Band (Pershing’s Own), The United States Coast Guard Band, Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and was in the 2007 cast of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland. He regularly performs with the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, New Britain Symphony Orchestra, Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, and Hartford Symphony Orchestra. His travels take him to Basel, Switzerland where he annually performs in the Carnival ‘Fasnacht’ with Seibi Fasnachtclique. He also performs music theater productions locally and out of state, such as Goodspeed productions and the Barrington Stage Company. Besides teaching lessons from his home studio in Wolcott, CT, Lee is also a percussion coach at New Canaan High School and the Waterbury Arts Magnet School. Mr. Caron attended the Hartt School of Music and the Boston Conservatory.
