Oleh Pakhomov is an orchestra percussionist, drummer and educator and has been playing music for more than 20 years. Since the age of 16 he has been working as an orchestra artist and performing as a soloist.

Oleh studied at the Ternopil Music College and the National Music Academy named and has achieved a Masters degree in music.

Oleh has worked with all the leading ensembles and orchestras of Ukraine such as the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National TV-Radio Company “Ukraine”, National Academic Symphonic Band of Ukraine, and the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine where Oleh was the Principal Timpanist.

As a guest musician, Oleh collaborated with the National Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, the Pop Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the National Chamber Ensemble “Kyiv Soloists”, the National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Camerata Orchestra”.

Since 2018, Oleh has been a percussionist in the symphony orchestra of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine. He has also fruitfully cooperated with the orchestras “Kyiv Virtuosi Orchestra”, “Kyiv Classik”, the “Ukrainian Improvisation Orchestra” and the Ensemble of contemporary music “UHO”.

Oleh also performs with pop and rock artists as a drummer and percussionist, and is an Educator of Percussion Instruments at the Kyiv Academy of Arts. There he has Participated in many national and international festivals.
