Gavin Green

Gavin Green is the Associate Director of Bands for the Ozark School District in Arkansas, where he works with students in grades 6–12 and helps develop a comprehensive, vertically aligned music curriculum that supports student growth at every level.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, Gavin earned his Bachelor of Music Education in Instrumental Music and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has taught and mentored musicians throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma, with students earning Superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble contests, All-Region and All-State honors, collegiate music scholarships, and placements in nationally recognized DCI and WGI ensembles.
In addition to his work as an educator, Gavin is an accomplished percussion specialist, clinician, composer, and arranger. He is the founder of the Fort Smith Drumline Camp, an annual educational event dedicated to developing strong percussion fundamentals in young musicians.
As a composer and arranger, Gavin has created music for schools and organizations across the United States. His works have been performed by marching bands, percussion ensembles, pageants, and competitive cheerleading programs nationwide, including projects for Varsity Spirit and the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA).
