“Being part of the Grover family is a great honor for me, and it is a wonderful way to celebrate and share the richness of percussion and Argentine music with the world.“ — |
Francisco Ratti was born in Brazil, where rhythm and percussion have been part of his life since childhood—a natural way of expressing himself and connecting with others.
As that passion grew stronger, he chose to make it his profession, which led him to Argentina to pursue formal studies at the Gilardo Gilardi Conservatory, the National University of Arts, and the Superior Institute of Arts of Colon Theater.
Francisco has performed with orchestras such as the Buenos Aires Philharmonic, the Colón Theater and Argentino Theater resident orchestras, as well as the Argentine National Orchestra “Libertador José de San Martín,” with which he toured Japan in 2024.
Beyond the symphonic stage, Francisco expanded his work as a session musician, performing in musicals, Latin ensembles, and crossover projects that connect classical and popular traditions. These experiences also opened the door to collaborations with artists and brands as diverse as Disney, Adidas, Duki, Bizarrap, Abel Pintos, and Los Palmeras.
For Francisco, percussion is communication at its core: a bridge between cultures and people, and every performance is an opportunity to share that connection.
