With summer around the corner, we have something very special for those of you who have been after us to manufacture a tambourine that can be played easily at outdoor venues on the hottest, most humid days. Working with our friends at Remo, we’ve developed a concert tambourine that’s totally unaffected by heat or humidity. While we don’t recommend it, you can literally pour a glass of water over the head on this tambourine and the head will remain taut! Grover Pro’s new synthetic head tambourines feature Remo Renaissance® synthetic heads. Perfect for playing during high heat and humidity situations, the heads on these new models are mounted tight and will remain tight regardless of atmospheric conditions! Available in three double row models:

  • T2/GS-X German Silver jingles MSRP $ 184
  • T2/BC-X Beryllium Copper jingles MSRP $ 208
  • T2/GsPh-X Silver/Bronze combo MSRP $ 189

The sonorities of these new models are identical to their respective natural skin head counterparts. While costing a little more, the advantages are that you are insured a tight head, regardless of where or when you’re playing.
