Here’s a great video of a performance that was given at PASIC’11 by Grover Pro Endorser Dr. John Parks and the Florida State University Ensemble Percussion Ensemble. This is the same ensemble that Grover Pro Founder Neil Grover played in when he was a music student at FSU in the early 70s!
We’re proud to say that the many of world’s top percussion ensembles perform on Grover Pro instruments, such as the Grover Pro tambourine in this clip…
All of us at here Grover Pro Percussion wish you a very joyous holiday season! With best wishes for the New Year…

This year’s PASIC show was one of our best and busiest. The Grover Pro exhibit was constantly crowded with percussionists in search of the world’s best tambourines, triangles, SDs and other percussive gear. The new Grover Tunable Tambourine, Tafoya Signature Timpani Mallets and the Professional Concert Toms created quite a stir and excitement throughout the 3-days!
Check out the photos and video below. As you will see, our booth was crowded with percussionists wanting to take advantage of the event and experience our products first hand. We also had many top professionals visit, including leading percussionists from the Boston Sym., NY Philharmonic, Pittburgh Sym., Cleveland Orch., Los Angeles Philharmonic, plus many others.
But the only time Plimpton admitted getting scared was when he played triangle for the New York Philharmonic, facing conductor Leonard Bernstein.
“He would stare at Bernstein over the top of the triangle, metal rods gripped tightly, and look for some cue in the whirlwind of Bernstein’s movements that suggested it was time for him to play. And then: ‘Ping!’”
